i get up every morning,
and straighten my hair, tease it
tediously paint on eye makeup
find a band tee or v neck
squeeze into skinny jeans
put on 14 bracelets
it takes me about 2 hours
WHAT THE HELL?!
i am working too hard for nothing
its weird. i am paranoid
i think some day my love will come up
knocking on my door
and i answer in pjs
but really, only my cat will see me.
i dressed up for a cat.
lovely.

lol
ReplyDeletesometimes I wish I were a girl, not in the wierd twisted way, it's just you look soo awesome, not you you, just women in general I mean. I shower, dress, and leave.
seeing all the effort you have to go thru. 2 hours!?! you can never understand you(general)
all look as lovely the moment you wake up as you do after all the effort you go thru. It's just my opinion ofc, but do you really want a mate that says or thinks you look great today only on the days you spend hours trying to look like someone else?
im jelous of your cat :)
I agree with John, although I understand why girls dress up. I'm subject to a similar experience every day. Sometimes I even get dressed up just to kill time.
ReplyDeleteBeauty has nothing to do with how dressed up you are, and how good you look. If someone calls you beautiful, and means it, they're not looking at your appearance at all. (this relates more to your last post)
Try going without glamming yourself up. Then when someone seems to take interest in you, you know there interested in you, not your outer layer. I'm telling you, you'll find love faster in life with that method. But it's understandable if your not up to it, I feel insecure when I leave the house without straightening my hair, putting on jewelery, and painting my nails black. It's only natural.
However, dress is a great way to express yourself. People with common dress will be drawn to each other, and you'll find more friends like you that way.
